Our Privacy and Cookies Policy sets forth the rules for the protection of personal data of Users who use the HouseFactor website, available at housefactor.pl.
HouseFactor is an online search engine for prefabricated, modular, and ready-to-move-in homes, allowing users to browse listings, compare home specifications, save selected listings, set up alerts, and send inquiries to home manufacturers.
We ensure the security of the personal data of individuals who use the Website. We process data in accordance with applicable laws, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of April 27, 2016, also known as the GDPR.
Failure to accept this Privacy and Cookies Policy allows you to browse parts of the Website, but may prevent you from using features that require you to provide personal information, such as creating an account, saving listings, setting up alerts, downloading materials, subscribing to the newsletter, or sending an inquiry to the Manufacturer.
Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.

Information provided in the contact form
If you submit an inquiry to the homebuilder using the form provided with the listing, we may process the following data:

- phone number,
- Content of the inquiry.
This information is necessary to forward your inquiry to the selected manufacturer and allow them to contact you regarding a specific listing.
When you submit the form, you may be asked to consent to the transfer of your data to the homebuilder so that they can contact you by phone or email.
Sharing Data with the Homebuilder
If you submit an inquiry about a specific home, your information will be forwarded to the selected builder associated with the listing.
The developer collects this information to respond to your inquiry, provide details about the offer, contact you by phone or email, and communicate with you further regarding the property in question.
Once your data has been transferred to the Manufacturer, the Manufacturer becomes a separate controller of your personal data for the purposes of further communication, handling your inquiry, and potential collaboration.
HouseFactor is not a party to the agreement between the User and the Manufacturer and is not responsible for the Manufacturer’s further processing of data if it takes place outside the Website.
The data controller is required to process personal data in accordance with applicable laws, in particular the GDPR.
Data in the User’s Account
Creating a user account may be required to use certain features of the Website, such as:
- saving favorite listings,
- setting up search alerts,
- access to features available only to logged-in users.
As part of your User account, we may process the data you provided during registration, as well as data related to your activity on the Website, including, in particular, saved listings and alert settings.
Data in the Producer’s Account
A manufacturer who wants to post listings on the Site must create a Manufacturer account.
Through the Producer account, we may process, in particular:
- the contact person’s first and last name,
- email address,
- phone number,
- company name,
- company registration information,
- Tax ID Number,
- data regarding job postings,
- materials added to listings,
- information regarding cooperation with the Website,
- Information needed for billing and issuing an invoice.
The manufacturer’s information may also be used to conduct a basic verification of whether the manufacturer is a legally operating company.
Data in the newsletter
To subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide your email address and, in some cases, your first name.
The information provided when subscribing to the newsletter is used to send emails containing information about the Website, new features, offers, articles, tips, marketing campaigns, and other content related to HouseFactor.
To manage the newsletter, we can use GetResponse or another email marketing platform.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in the email or by contacting the Administrator.

- We store the data provided for the purpose of the newsletter until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or revoke your consent;
- We retain alert-related data until the alert is deleted, the account is deleted, or you opt out of this feature;
- We retain accounting and billing data for the period required by law;
- We retain data processed based on consent until such consent is withdrawn, unless there is another legal basis for continued processing;
